I have recently moved, and the new studio is located just two minutes on foot from the Royal Victoria Park in a former auction house in the World Heritage City of Bath. It is one of a number of studios that make up Widcombe Studios Ltd, an artists’ cooperative. A schoolroom in the building is open to the public for tutored and untutored courses in everything from watercolour to sculpting from life, and there is also a small gallery for hire. The studios are right next to a bus stop (buses 14 and 17) and are ten minutes’ walk from the city centre. For more information, visit the studios website www.widcombestudios.co.uk.
